Premium Match Candidates

(A)

Following a reorg in our business unit, our team inherited Premium Match Candidates (PMC), a feature built by an internal tiger team to drive new revenue for Indeed. When an employer pays to sponsor a job at Indeed's Premium tier (Premium Match Candidates), we surface matched candidates from Indeed's resume pool where they can invite them to apply for their role.

Over four months, my PM and I diagnosed the gap between perceived value and actual usage, built a strategy to close that gap, and identified opportunities to expand adoption and value across other business units.

PMC was one of our most important company's strategic revenue drivers. It cleared viability testing and was already live but underperforming. Research consistently flagged it as one of Premium's highest-value features, yet adoption was low, and users who did pay for it disengaged within minutes.
